2019 went out with a bang as I wrapped up my wedding season with Karyn and Carl’s wedding! They couldn’t have chosen a better day for a winter wedding on a beach! It was sunny AND mild for a winter’s day on Cape Cod!
The girls started their day at Karyn’s family’s house down the Cape and it was adorable! Gorgeously remodeled and amazingly decorated – her mom definitely missed her calling as an interior designer:)
With it being three days after Christmas, the house was very festive too! Who doesn’t love a little twinkly lights any time of year though!
A giggly moment with all of the granddaughters:)
This is Karyn’s ADORABLE maid-of-honor and daughter…This 8 year old couldn’t be more beautiful inside and out. For the entire day, she was right there ready to help and support her mom (and me:)! She is smart, funny and just so happy!
When it came time for Karyn’s Mom, sister and daughter assisted her:)
This moment actually brings tears to MY eyes every time I look at it…that proud hug couldn’t be any tighter – so much love!
Karyn’s father arrived in a limo to escort her to the church and if you look closely at the photo on the right – Karyn and her daughter are wiping away tears at the exact same time…
With it being a little wet outside by the water, we decided to do a few photos indoors before heading to the church!
While I was over capturing the girls, my second shooter for the day – Staci Kirkwood, was over with the guys!
This moment MAY be my favorite of the whole day. The pure joy and happiness of “A” during the ceremony was so awesome to see!
While everyone else was offering each other the sign of peace, these three were having their first emotional moment as an official family of three…
and the love continued as “A” got some extra love from her now “official” aunties:)
These two have matching families…they are both one of four children!
After family photos wrapped up, we headed to the Seacrest Beach Hotel for photos on the beach as the sun set!
The beach at the Seacrest is seriously beautiful anytime of year;)
Back inside after photos cocktail hour began and then the reception kicked off! These fabulous people are the reason I met Karyn and Carl! Kerin and Karyn are best friends and I photographed Kerin’s wedding (along with all of her sister’s weddings too:)! These are her fabulous parents AND Kevin and Brad’s baby girl:)!!
These two are the cutest cousins:)
After dinner, we did a quiet cake cutting in the corner of the Seacrest room:)
Then the partying really began:)!
With a little break for the parent dances…
The sweetest moment…
A bit of spin-the-bottle-dance-off (which is my own name for it 😉
Karyn and Carl (and “A”;) – Thank you so much for choosing me to be a part of your day! I am so happy for all three of you and hope to get to see you all again soon!!
