At the beginning of September, I had the pleasure of being a part of Emily and Brandon’s wedding! Their day was full of style and class because Emily and Brandon exude it:) I love when couples engrave their rings…
The view from the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor is fantastic and a huge reason that Emily and Brandon chose this venue! Mother and father first-looks are the best and Emily’s mom was just adorable! Emily is just STUNNING! I couldn’t even narrow down these photos of her so I included them all! Emily and Brandon decided on a first look and getting their photos done before the ceremony. For sure, this is one of my favorite first looks ever – the city backdrop at the Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor is just perfect and I love her little leg lift in the first photo too!
One of my favorites but there are so many it is hard to choose:)
These two cuties are Emily’s niece and nephew and they were adorable! They ended up coming up the isle separately, but they both made it: After the ceremony we scooted off for a couple minutes of quiet celebration…and a little champagne:) This was our second attempt at popping champagne – and I believe it may be their third time overall – all of them haven’t worked out as planned! This time, it was a cordless bottle that foiled our plan:) Click here to see and read about our attempt at their engagement session:) The sun was setting as the reception was about to begin! Just as the DJ was beginning to line them up we took just a couple sunset photos!
The sky was just starting to turn pink in our photo on the left and began even more like cotton candy clouds after:)!Then the reception began!
The DJ told a story about Emily and Brandon’s love story and then they danced:)
Emily and Brandon – Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day! It was fabulous:)

Bride/Groom Questions
What was the most memorable moment of your day?
We are so grateful to our friend, Will, for officiating our ceremony. He included lots of personal details and stories that made it a very meaningful moment for us both.
What was your favorite detail?
Our favorite details were the unique personal touches, like our bear cake toppers, family wedding photos, and the readings we picked for our ceremony. One was Emily’s grandfather’s favorite poem.
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
When you’re in the planning stages sometimes it feels like you’ll never be done! The best advice we got and will pass on is to give yourself a deadline (for example, a few days before the wedding) when you will let go of anything that’s not finished and focus on the experience and the people who’ve gathered the celebrate with you. No bride or groom should be up late tying bows the night before the big day!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
The things that go wrong are funny in retrospect! Our best man dropped the rings during our ceremony (you can see him staring at the ground in some pictures!) and our sweet flower girl (Emily’s niece) got sick minutes before walking down the aisle. We also gave our DJ funny facts about each member of our wedding party that he turned into a roast as he introduced them into the reception. Hearing these stories, and watching the reactions, was hilarious.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Nope, other than having the ability to slow down time and appreciate every moment even more. 🙂
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We explored Costa Rica’s beaches and rainforest. Pura vida!
