ashley & brian | wedding at the omni hotel, providence, ri

Ashley and Brian are married:)!! After a questionable forecast all week, their day turned out bright and beautiful! It was full of love, laughter, friends and family (30+ people in the bridal party alone – my biggest yet:)!

I started the day at Ashley’s parent’s home (which is gorgeous:)! When I arrived I found her little guys in the best of moods – they are the cutest!  These two little guys joined in at the end of our engagement session too – check it out here – so I was lucky enough to have already met them! When I arrived, the girls had already hung all of the dresses for me – it was great:)! One of Ashley’s MOH had made the hangers using her Silhouette! She was surprised that I had heard of it, but I actually have one myself:)! Shortly after I arrived, Ashley was ready for the make-up chair:)!Her family helped to get B ready, and he made a grand entrance with all of the girls oohing and ahhing over him and his adorable suit outfit!! SO cute! When the girls were ready, little B brought over the gift from his Dad…As you can see there wasn’t a dry eye!The gorgeous flowers arrived! We did one big group shot of the girls before everyone started to get dressed!

Meanwhile – over at the guys house, my second shooter Sharon Reiley of Bittersweet Books, was capturing what the guys were doing:)!

Brian had a special delivery when little B arrived too! He brought his dad the gift from his mom:)!

Back at the girls house, Ashley continued to get ready before heading to the church!

Ashley’s Dad dressed Little G while Ashley’s mom helped Ashley and the girls! Dora, Ashley’s mom, was a juggling extrordinairre! She was running around helping everyone with everything and there was a LOT going on at every moment with such a big group! The two MOH’s with the bride:)!Ashley with her littlest man:)! Can you believe that she had a baby only 8 months ago – she looks FABULOUS:)!!The veil was the final touch! After a few pictures while waiting for the trolley, Ashley and her dad climbed into his vintage car (I am SO bad with car types – so sorry:)…and headed off to the church! While we were on our way, Sharon was capturing the happenings at the church…THE CUTEST!!!I previewed this picture of Ashley and her Dad making their way into the church – It is one of my favorites all church pictures:)!This little giggle came after Brian went in for an early kiss when he greeted Ashley…such a cute moment!Sharon headed up to the balcony for the aerial view:)!When I had shown Ashley a sample album, she noticed how happy the couple looked as they came back down the isle….I told her that they would look just as happy too – and here it is:)!! It is one of my favorite parts of the day because of that happiness:)!!One of the requests from Ashley and her mom, was a shot of everyone on the steps! Although everyone is so small when there is such a large group, I do agree it is a great shot to have and we did it so quickly too – so impressed!!We had a little trolley ride to the Capital Building…Then wee started with some family pictures….and then the whole group!

We wrapped up with Ashley and Brian alone before heading to cocktail! At the Omni Hotel, the room was beautifully decorated and waiting for the guests to arrive! When the reception began, the bridal party was introduced and it was capped off with the intro of little B pulling baby G!! A huge hit!!

After the first dance, there were four speeches by all of the BM and MOHs:)!During the dances, little G was having his first dance:)!
Ashley and Brian had a balloon man come in for the little ones! He was VERY popular! He didn’t stop for at least two hours! There was also a little surprise for Ashley and Brian! The kids did a little flash dance to the song Happy, and the bridal party even had these shirts made up for the performance!Once the formalities were complete, the dancing began:)!Dora and little B along with Brian’s Dad and his wife Sue!
There was a late night snack of burgers, fries and chicken sandwiches, just before I headed out….and a final slow song too:)! I love these end of the night pictures of Ashley and Brian:)!!As I was packing up, I saw some fun party decor getting pulled out and I grabbed a few pictures of them:)!

Ashley, Brian and ALL of your family – I wish you all the best!! You are a tight-knit bunch and it is fantastic!!! Congrats!!

Bride/Groom Questions
What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Ashley: Watching all of our closest friends and family waiting to walk down the aisle, fighting back the tears so I didn’t mess up my make up before the ceremony even began!
Brian: Brandon & Gavin walking down the aisle with the sign that said “Daddy, here comes Mommy” followed by my beautiful bride and Joe
What was your favorite detail?
Ashley: I had many, many details that I loved… From the stunning flowers, my dad’s restored Thunderbird, the balloon entertainment for the kids, to the late night burgers, sunglasses and crazy hats… But my favorite of all was Brandon pulling Gavin in the wagon.
Brian: Brandon & Gavin’s hats
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Ashley: Sit down, relax & eat. Bring a comfy shoe alternate so you can dance all night. Enjoy your day from morning mimosas to the last dance!
Brian: Learn how to tie a good tie knot before your wedding day! (Thanks to Johnny I had an awesome knotted tie anyways) Also, don’t go to Men’s Warehouse.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Ashley: Re- doing our whole first dance routine during cocktail hour to avoid stepping on my dress!
Brian: Making liquor store stops in a trolley with a parade of people following is tough so get this done before the ceremony
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Ashley: Not a thing
 Brian: No
