On November 12th, Jena and Nick were married on a chilly November day! Jena and I first met when she was a bridesmaid in a wedding that I photographed last summer! She is such a sweet and kind person, so I was very excited to get the opportunity to work with her (and her friends!) again and really get to meet Nick! On November 12th, I met Jena at her childhood home for the getting ready time before we headed off to the church for the ceremony!
I absolutely love the fancy hangers!Check out the Louis Vuitton shoes with the red soles! After the finishing touches of make-up was applied, Jena wrote out her card for Nick…Nick was doing the same…All of her girls and her mom were there to help her get into her dress and details…On our way back down, I wanted to get a picture of Jena going down the stairs…her adorable niece went first…Once everyone was ready we braved the frigid air to get some fall pictures…totally worth it – in my opinion!I just couldn’t decide between the next 4, so I included them all…simply beautiful!Meanwhile, my fabulous second shooter for the day, Jacyln Lombardo was over with the guys, doing the same thing! When we got back inside, Nick’s card to Jena had arrived…These next two shots are Jackie’s as the ceremony began! Our window for “formals” was one of the smallest that I have worked with, but we made it happen! We were quick and efficient and it all worked out!A few of the details from the reception – thanks to Jackie! After cocktail, the reception began! When time allows, I like to get pictures of the bridal party with their significant others! Kellie and John’s wedding (on the top left) was where I first met Jena! Kellie is such a supporter (and so much fun!)!The final dance!and one last one!Jena and Nick – congratulations to you both! We couldn’t have asked for a smoother day and I am so happy that I was the one that was there to photograph it for you! Best wishes to you both!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
When the church doors opened and we saw each other for the first time! The love and excitement in the air was contagious.
What was your favorite detail?
Instead of table numbers, we named the tables after our favorite places. We took pictures of each location to print on the table cards and the process brought back a lot of happy memories. It was time consuming, but the end result was perfect!
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
We really enjoyed having a day to relax in between the rehearsal on Thursday and wedding on Saturday. We were able to sleep in after a fun night and gear up for the real festivities! If it works for you, we highly suggest it.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
We wouldn’t change a thing! Our wedding was beautiful in every way and we were blessed to be surrounded by fabulous friends and family.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
One happy island, Aruba!
