Meaghan and Joe are married!!! I met Meaghan in one of me early years of photography and over the course of the last 7 or 8 years (I have lost track – LOL), I have photographed several other weddings that Meaghan has been a part of AND done a big family session for Meaghan’s whole family:) As soon as Meaghan and Joe got engaged and she contacted me, I was not only SOOOO excited for the two of them, I was just SOOO excited to get to be there! I know Meaghan (and her friends and family:) and I knew it would be a perfectly planned but still laid back day and also a fantastic party! It turns out that Joe, his family and friends, are such a perfect fit too!
The day started at a house that Meaghan’s parents had rented and it was perfect! Right down the street from Plimoth Plantation and beautifully updated!
The day started out with heavy, heavy rain AND whipping winds but as the day moved on, it all cleared up….these Rosaries from Meaghan’s mother may have had a little help in that;)
Joe and the guys were diagonally across the street at a hotel on the ocean and the winds were whipping:)
Back at Meaghan’s, everyone was ready and it was time for the dress:)
Due to the crazy weather from the night before and into the morning, our original plans had to be changed…the ground was just too muddy and soaked:( It wasn’t a problem at all though – we just found spots that allowed us to stay on solid ground and that started with their first look just outside the house’s door!
Love the playfulness of their first look – perfectly them:)
After the first look, we all headed to Plimoth Plantation! I had scoped out the grounds that morning and found a few spots that would keep us out of the mud and they worked out beautifully!
These are Meaghan’s nieces and nephews looking adorable:)
I am in love with this barn at Plimoth Plantation AND it worked out great with some dry ground!
Meaghan and Joe were so excited for the llama! We got a few photos with the animals, but the llama didn’t want to come out to play with us outside – LOL!
You could see the hotel that Joe got ready at across the water at the venue!
The ceremony began and was officiated by Meaghan’s oldest brother:)
Their ceremony kicked off the happy celebration with Meaghan and her dad laughing and talking to everyone coming up the isle – it was perfect:)
The love and laughter continued throughout the ceremony – especially with Meaghan’s aunts!
These two cuties were giggling, because they were showering me in rose petals, as I took photos, just a second before:)!
I included these two photos, because Meaghan and Joe loved this moment – she mentioned it in her answers below!
LOVEEEE when you can get a beautiful silhouette at a ceremony:)!
Their #pilgimparty was fully complete with some surprise pilgrims during cocktail!
The speeches kicked off with Meaghan’s dad and every single speech was AMAZING!!!
After dinner, Joe danced with his mom and Meaghan and her dad kicked off the party with a surprise match up! It started off as a typical dance but then they busted into a choreographed mix of fast ones!
Meaghan and Joe wanted a party – and that is just what they got:)
Meaghan and Joe – congratulations to you both!! SOO happy for you and I wish you the best as you settle into your new home!!
