Kari and Jim had a beautiful day for their wedding, and even had a “good luck” rain shower for just a few minutes (or should I say downpour:)! The day started at Kari’s childhood home in our hometown of Foxboro (I say “our” because I am from there too:)! Her parents house and yard are fantastic:)! So nicely done and decorated!
The girls and her mom helped her get ready with her dress, shoes and details!
I love this picture of her mom using her iPad to take a few pictures of the veil going on! It is such a sign of the times!!We had to do a few pictures on the front porch of Kari’s childhood home! Her family put a lot of time and effort into planting, mulching and beautifying the front!I am personally a big fan of greenery and they had a great area in their backyard that I spotted!I love these girls!! Kari’s maid-of-honor Casey, is the reason that I photographed Kari’s wedding! After doing maternity and newborn pictures for her and her husband, she passed my name onto Kari! Thanks so much Casey! This was also my first time having a future bride in a bridal party (usually there are past brides:)! Melissa, on the far right, will be Kari’s sister-in-law in August when she marries Kari’s brother!
When I arrived at the church, we grabbed some pictures of Jim and his guys!
Towards the end of the ceremony, we could hear the thunder and the pitter patter of the rain! I love these pictures that we got from that moment, and luckily, we only had that one thunderstorm to deal with and it was beautiful by the time we arrived at the Four Point Sheraton!
When we arrived at the Four Point Sheraton, we actually did ALL of our pictures in just about 30 minutes! Bridal party, families and couple! We were super quick and efficient!
Before we did our pictures by the waterfall, I ran in to grab a couple pictures of the place cards…Ironically, I grabbed a shot of one of the people that I knew at the wedding:) Too funny!
The Tiffany Ballroom at the Four Point Sheraton is gorgeous and the uplighting truly makes it look magical – LOVE uplighting!!Loved this idea that Molly did with the guys!! Everyone did something fun when they entered!Matty gave the blessing – that was SO much more than a blessing…Kari’s dad, Casey and the two best men ALL gave incredible toasts too! Casey tied all of hers into numbers and it was awesome!
This is the future Mr. & Mrs. Jacobson and Melissa’s parents! The rest of the night was a fun party! The videographer pulled them for a good-bye message and I followed of course! Glad I did! After the final dance, there was one more song that was special to Kari and her mom!
Kari and Jim – Congratulations and thank you so much for choosing me to be your photographer!! I LOVE my Foxboro peeps (even if I was a “bit” older than you girls:)!
