Kaitlyn and Scott are married! They kicked off their day at two rental homes on the water in Mattapoisett and then headed over to Shining Tides for their ceremony and reception. Prior to their wedding day, I only got to meet them one time – at our final meeting just days before the wedding! They traveled up from Philadelphia just in time for their day and I was able to meet Kaitlyn’s mom, grandmother, their ring bearer and Kaitlyn and Scott! At our meeting, we knew the day was possibly going to be inclement weather and when the day arrived, the weather people were right. It unfortunately didn’t turn out to be a sunny day, but Kaitlyn and Scott didn’t care when the day arrived! They were AWESOME! They made the most of every minute, worked with and around every rain drop and enjoyed the day because they knew it only happens once and they are marrying their best friend!! It was perfect!!
I started at Scott’s family’s rented house with the guys…I could tell from the first moment meeting them all, that it was going to be a great group!
When headed over to the girls at Kaitlyn’s rental, it was just a few doors down! The girls had everything out and waiting for me!
This is the little guy that I got to meet at our meeting. He was busy with his iPad while we chatted, but on the wedding day, he and his sister were amazing flower girls and ring bearers!
I started with the details:)
Kaitlyn received a gift from Scott…
Here is our little guy’s sister…just soon adorable!!
A first look with dad before her first look with Scott!
The guys walked down when it was time….I also LOVED dad’s socks – what a great gift idea!
Their first look was full of emotion and love…
After a few minutes with just Kaitlyn and Scott, we started the bridal party photos and family pictures! The rain was off and on and loved to mist us throughout our time, but regardless, we stayed close to the house for shelter and made it work! What a GORGEOUS view (and group:)!
Kaitlyn and her sister:)!
Just look at these cuties!! Absolutely adorable!!
We headed over to Shining Tides and Kaitlyn was tucked away!
Throughout the evening, Scott’s band (and friends) provided the music:)
Here comes the fabulous families of Kaitlyn and Scott!
She wanted to help fix Kaitlyn’s veil too! It was adorable!
The ceremony was full of special touches, heartfelt words and laughter. Perfection!
After the ceremony we snuck over to the dock to squeeze in a few more pictures at Shining Tides! I am in love with the blowing veil!
Inside the Shining Tides porch, the space was set for the guests!
This is my first wedding at Shining Tides with a tent and it worked out perfectly! Fit the space nicely and did a great job keeping us dry during the ceremony and cocktail!
Just before cocktail ended, the sun peeked out!
I collected Kaitlyn and Scott, but it tucked back in and left us with this cool sky!
Someone in this group had brought an actual photograph to replicate! I wish I had taken a shot of the photo because this was SPOT on to their pic!
During Kaitlyn’s dance with her father, Scott jumped in to play:)
After dinner the party began! The band was fabulous and the dance floor was packed! Many members of the bridal party AND the guests jumped in to play and even sing! It was a musical group!
Kaitlyn and Scott – Thank you for choosing me to photograph your wedding! It was so nice to finally meet the two of you and your fabulous group of friends and family! I wish you both the best and hope that I get to see you again in the future!!
