This day was a long time in the making…both for Jess and Chris and for me! Jess and I originally met just shortly after her engagement. She was a bridesmaid in her friend Kellie’s wedding and I was the photographer! We chatted a bit about her engagement (because Kellie could be my personal publicist she is so good to me 🙂 ) and shortly after Kellie’s wedding, I got an email from Jess and Chris! When I sat down with them, I was already so comfortable…Jess had been fantastic during Kellie’s wedding and the two of them were so easy to talk to! At that meeting I learned that Jess and Chris have been together for 9 years! That little fact was one of the first things that came up in her sister’s toast too…very cute!! The girls helped with Jess’s dress and her fabulous mom helped with the jewelry – seriously one of the happiest and energetic mothers that I have worked with!Stunning, stunning, stunning…Jess and Chris opted to do a first look…my favorite!! We were able to get SO many pictures, because they really prioritized their pictures by giving us a big chunk of time!Love this one…AND it was Chris’s idea!! He asked for a serious one – which I find can be difficult for a lot of bridal parties (probably because I am not a very serious person to begin with!), but when he asked, they all listened and did a GREAT job…I am sure you will be seeing this on my new website this winter!and they of course had to smile too!The Barn at Gibbet Hill is GORGEOUS, inside and out!!When the music began that evening, I was all smiles! Country music was a big chunk of the evening! Although these two pictures were taken during the reception, I had to save them for the end…I just LOVE them!! The sky couldn’t have been any better!!
Jess and Chris – Thank you so much for choosing me to photograph your wedding…It was a fantastic day from start to finish!
