On a breezy July evening, I met Jen and Chris in Boston for their engagement session! Their wedding is quickly approaching and I can’t wait to be a part of their day (and see a few familiar faces too:)! We spent our time walking around Columbus Park and Faneuil Hall chatting about their upcoming day, their recent vacation, Jen’s new job and a few other big changes in their lives (like moving:)! The proposal |Chris proposed to me this past Christmas eve. We were spending Christmas eve with my family and were then going to go to his family’s house Christmas morning. Since we were leaving early Christmas morning my family decided to exchange gifts on Christmas Eve. We had just about finished opening presents when my mom mentioned there was one more for me. They told me it was from my parent’s dog Sammie (which is something my dad always did growing up). I started to open the gift and it was a Starbucks travel mug. Being a teacher I had gotten a few travel mugs as holiday gifts and all I could think of was how Chris would say we have no room in our condo for another travel mug. My parents encouraged me to open it up (they knew of the proposal) and inside was the ring. By the time I took the ring out Chris was already down on one knee and everyone was yelling with excitement. My dad got the entire proposal on video which I still watch.
