Rachel and Matt are married and their wedding day was filled with love, laughter, a beautiful church, a bit of rain and even a sunset:)! Although they had some “good luck” rain, it stopped when we arrived at Grand View for their cocktail hour and photos…which couldn’t have worked out any better!
Take a peek at their day below…
Rachel and Matt – I hope that you continued to party for the rest of the night with that spectacular band and your family and friends! Congratulations to you both!!

Matt – Putting the wedding band on Rachel’s hand Rachel – Seeing Matt’s face as she walked down the aisle What was your favorite detail? We’ve gotten into gardening and planting at home so the flowers were our favorite detail – we only told the florist the colors we wanted and they absolutely nailed it! Any advice for future brides/grooms? The day goes by as fast as everyone says it does – take a moment to breathe and take it all in…but most importantly, enjoy yourself! Funniest memory from your wedding day? Matt playing the “air drums” with the band during the last song. It was captured on video which makes it even better! If you could do it all over, would you change anything? Trying not to let the weather affect your day – turns out rain and clouds can lead to some epic sunset pictures! Where did you go on your honeymoon? We took a “mini moon” to Portland, ME for a few days after the wedding to unwind, but our true honeymoon will be to the Bahamas in November. It’s nice to look forward to a trip when the cold weather months return! |
