I have been anxiously awaiting the return of Charlene and Mike from their honeymoon so that I could share this with them and last night I received the, “We are back” email:)!
Charlene and Mike were married at Independence Harbor on March 22nd – one of the best March weather days here in Massachusetts! I met them at the venue, at just about sunset time, and although I was only with them for a handful of hours, we were able to capture and document their day beautifully!
I arrived a few minutes early to grab some pictures of the venue and their details – and I got to spend a few minutes with Judy and Bob of Judy’s Village Flowers…my friends and former employers from when I was in high school (and the people who made me a boutonniere pinning expert:)!When Charlene pulled up, she was STUNNING! I knew she would be though – she always looked beautiful even at our meetings:)!We grabbed a few pictures of her and her sister before tucking her away inside – and out of sight from Mike and the guests arriving…When Mike arrived with the guests we aimed to get some of him and his brother too! We had a few hecklers as the guests scooted on by – but it got us some laughs too:)!The ceremony took place inside – it was one of our best March days, but not an outside kind of day:)!There were still a few minutes of daylight outdoors and we took advantage of it!After some family formals back inside, the reception was ready to begin! Charlene’s nephews were awesome for the whole time I was with them – adorable! After the dances, the blessing and speeches began…
the boys looked on as their mom gave her speech!Mike’s brother got some big reactions from the crowd (and from Charlene:)!
Then the party began!
Mike and Charlene – Congratulations on a fantastic wedding and evening and thank you for allowing me to be a part of it! You two are fantastic and so aren’t your families:)!
