Liz and Jay were married at Ocean Edge in early September. It was a gorgeous day weather wise, but an even better one because of the company that they keep! Everyone was fantastic, from their bridal party, to their families, to the guests! It was a happy (and ready to party!) kind of group…I just love those weddings :)! I do have to say that I wouldn’t expect anything less, seeing both Liz and Jay (and almost the entire bridal party!) are from my hometown of Foxboro! Once again, I am a “bit” older than Liz and Jay, so I didn’t know them “way back then”, but I did actually know a few of the guests which is always fun!
The day started in the mansion with the girls getting ready…Isn’t Liz’s dress just fantastic? The shoes were THE perfect addition to the dress! This was the view that the girls had while getting ready….gorgeous! This is Liz’s sister…a few weeks into motherhood! She was an amazing trooper for the day – sharing maid-of-honor duties AND the duties of mothering a newborn! After having the morning with the girls, I met the guys outside for a few pictures just before the ceremony…
The ceremony began with the grand entrance of the families, bridal party and of course Liz and her father! After the ceremony we were whisked away to a beach for some pictures….the space was a bit tight and crowded on such a gorgeous day, but we made it work! Those glass not only looked great, but they made the pictures so easy on the eyes in the bright sun!! There are so many pictures of these two that I just LOVE! I am including quite a few, but there are SO many more!!Love the “Thank You” sign!! Signs are an in expensive little touch that go a long way!! I heart signs!I absolutely heart uplighting too!! It makes such a HUGE impact on the look and feel of the room, and really makes pictures pop!Three great speeches, all for their own reasons, but the best man definitely wins the prize for the most hysterical!!There are just so many fun party pictures from the reception…once again, I had to include a bunch! I love this set…the imaginary jump rope…two guys were “swinging it” and people would jump in…it was fantastic and definitely something that they have done before…everyone had their own great moves!!
Liz and Jay – Congratulations to you both! You two are so much fun – I hope our paths cross again soon :)!!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
The most memorable part of the day was the first dance, especially when Jay spun me because we had practiced it every night the week before in anticipation and were so relieved we pulled it off!
What was your favorite detail?
The rose petals and uplighting were small details that made a big difference, especially in pictures.
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
We took the week off before the wedding & rented a Cape house. It was a nice way to spend time with everyone before the wedding, since the day goes by so quickly!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
The best man speech by Jonathan Chin and when bridesmaid Meaghan Carroll tried to jump into the pool midway through the reception were both the funniest moments of the night.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Not a thing!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Paris, France & the French Riviera
