amy & brian | Boston engagement photographer

My blog is finally back up and running and I am so excited to share this preview!!

Last weekend, I met up with Amy and Brian for their engagement session! Amy has been near and dear to me for the last 5+ years….to give you a little back-story – she is a physician’s assistant in one of the doctor’s offices in our practice! She is always such a smiling and happy face, whenever we see her, and my kids just love her!  During one of our office visits, I was completely surprised when she commented on a recent blog post of mine – I hadn’t even known that she looked at my work!  The rest is photography history!! We like to talk about gear, poses, locations, etc.! She is fantastic:)!

I am so excited that the day has arrived, that I actually get to photograph her and her fantastic fiance! I am truly honored and touched that she and Brian have chosen to allow me to be a part of their day!

Take a peek at their session below:)!
As I mentioned above – Amy and I get along fabulously – we always have something to talk about with photography…BUT at just about this moment in the session, we learned that we are also BOTH doing p90x3 and LOVING it!! I wish you could have heard our conversation and the excitement level as we realized it!!

Amy and Brian – I can’t wait for April to arrive! It is going to be a fabulous day:)!

How did he propose | Brian completely surprised me on a trip down to Annapolis, MD. We had planned the weekend out just for crab eating because Brian had promised early on in our relationship that he would take me for some true Annapolis crab at the heart of the season. However, Brian had other ideas as well, planning to propose in order to surprise me. (Let’s just say I had been somewhat waiting for the proposal for several months). After a walk around downtown Annapolis, he got down on one knee at a yacht club, asking for my hand in marriage. After several “No’s” out of pure surprise I said, “of course, YES!!!!”
