Beth and Jimmy were married on July 29th at the Regatta Place in Newport, RI. The day started at the Pearl’s Hotel. The guys were using one of the Pearl’s Hotel’s houses and Beth and her girls had another. When I first arrived, I started photographing all of Beth’s details in the courtyard of the hotel…She had her invitation, rings, shoes and her dress, ready and waiting! When my second shooter Sharon Reiley arrived, she met up with Jimmy and the guys. They were ready and waiting because they had some bar-hopping they wanted to get to!This is the “Cindylou Who” look! So cute!!
While Beth was still in the midst of getting ready, the guys were drinking and eating at a couple of the local bars!Beth’s mom and maid-of-honor helped her into her dress. The next group of pictures are all of BETH! I normally don’t include this many bridal pictures in a preview, but I couldn’t help it! I just couldn’t choose! Jimmy and Beth did a first-look in the courtyard of their hotel and a few minutes of pictures together before the whole bridal party joined us and we hit the streets of Newport! I can not say it enough…I LOVE when couples opt for a first-look! It gives them more time to enjoy their day, and it gives me more time to capture it for them!As were were exploring, the guys decided to buy a round of shots…I thought they were going to be just for the guys, and I started to gather them for the picture. That was when I learned that the girls were in on it too! I was very impressed! When I arrived at the Regatta Place, I grabbed a few pictures of the reception tent and details before the ceremony began. As the ceremony began, Sharon grabbed the girls along with Beth and her father walking to the ceremony tent. There were a few raindrops during the ceremony, but it cleared before the ceremony even ended!I just love this picture of Beth smiling at her mother as she walks up the isle. Sharon captured this adorable picture below! The two flower girls are cousins and they are so sweet together! I love this picture of Beth’s mother…it is a perfect example of how happy she was for the entire day…such a sweet lady!
Before heading off to cocktail hour, we grabbed a few more pictures of the bridal party (with their flowers this time!) and just a few more of Beth and Jimmy on the docks!
Just before the reception began, we grabbed a whole group shot…Sharon captured Beth and Jimmy from the ground!
After the first dance, Beth’s father gave a toast. Doesn’t the singer from the band look like a young Ben Affleck? I couldn’t get over it when I was watching him! He even had his mannerisms! The party kicked off in full-swing just after dinner…fantastic music and fantastic dancing! This little guy was a dancing machine and he loved to be right up front with the band!Jimmy’s relative (his cousin, I believe) took the mic and sang a song…she was a phenominal singer!Congratulations Beth and Jimmy! A great day for a great couple!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
Our First Dance (The dance lessons paid off. Jimmy is now thinking about applying for Dancing with the Stars!)
What was your favorite detail?
I have so many favorites! It is hard to choose, but I loved the Band. The band had everyone on the dance floor. We had no idea we had so many talented dancers coming to the wedding! I also loved the Wedding Party’s outfits. We loved how it all came together and thought it looked great.
Wedding Attire: Groomsmen and Usher ties (Vineyard Vines); Bridesmaids (J.Crew); Flower Girls (Lilly Pulitzer)
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Have a destination wedding! Majority of our guests traveled from all over the country to Newport, RI and it was a great place to have a wedding tied into a fun vacation!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
The Cake Cutting. Jimmy validated why he has saved so many lives by NOT becoming a surgeon, as exemplified by his lack of surgical skills while cutting the cake. If you were close enough to the cake cutting you might have noticed it almost toppled over and the piece extracted looked like mashed potatoes.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Nothing, it was a perfect.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
Bar Harbor, ME
