Last week I had the pleasure of meeting baby Luke when he was just less than a week old:)! It was extra special to me because Jena and I go way back! First I met her as a bridesmaid years ago and then a couple of years ago, I photographed her wedding (Nick’s wedding too of course:)! Then just last year I also photographed her cousin’s wedding so I got to see their whole family again!

For their newborn session, I met them at their home – their BEAUTIFUL home! Nick is a contractor and Jena is an UNBELIEVABLE decorator!! It was so exciting to see so many of their wedding images decorating their home too! This home actually belonged to Nick’s grandfather prior to Nick and Jena deciding to purchase it and remodel it. Let me tell you, I was in awe with how it turned out! I had seen some progress pictures on Facebook, but it doesn’t even begin to do it justice!!
When I arrived, Luke was already a sleepy little angel! He is absolutely adorable and such a good little guy! Here is a sneak peek of their session – it is heavy on the black and whites because Jena and Nick definitely lean towards them! Their gallery DOES contain color though -do not worry! I had to throw in a little blue here too:)!
