Last week I met Amanda and Sean in Boston for their engagement session! They were one of my first 2017 couples to book and now their wedding is about a year away:)! Amanda and Sean are true Boston people – from growing up just outside the city, to living there and working there now, to getting engaged at Columbus Park (you can read about that below:)…It was only fitting that we would incorporate the city into their engagement session!
Take a peek below at our time together…and our fun ending with some Patriot shirts:)! Be sure to note the gutsiness of the squirrels this year…I was not using a zoom lens – it was a foot and a half away from me wanting food and looking like it was ready to pounce:)!
Amanda and Sean – I look forward to next June! I can’t wait to see your visions come to life and meet your friends and family:)!

How did he propose | The night before he proposed we were at a concert and Sean was showing me a picture we took together on his phone and instead a picture of the ring he bought popped up. I tried my best to act like I didn’t see it and stay calm, but as soon as I could I ran and told some of my friends and our roommates that were with us. Good thing I did that because my roommates knew he was going to propose and went back to tell Sean what I saw. On the cab ride home Sean spun the story and asked his friend, in front of me, if he saw the picture of the ring that their other friend bought to propose to his girlfriend and asked what he thought of it. He then suggested to me that after our dinner, we had planned for our 6 year anniversary, the next night we go and celebrate with this couple. I was devastated, and spent the rest of the night venting to one of my friends. Sure enough after dinner in the north end he walked me through Christopher Columbus Park, and asked me if I thought his friends girlfriend said yes, then got down on one knee. I was in complete shock, definitely the best surprise I’ve had my entire life.
