Last weekend, I “re-met” Katie and Scott for their maternity session! It turned out that I had met them at a wedding that I had photographed a couple of years ago – Deanne & Jake’s! Scott is the connection to Deanne AND the brother of Elizabeth – one of my original maternity sessions and a family that I have watched grow through two children:)
You may think that I met them in a forest, from the first few images below, but this was actually their back yard!!
After some time outside, we headed in to the nursery that they beautifully decorated and we integrated a few items that were special to them!
When I saw the vintage car in the garage, we just had to incorporate it before I headed out! They ended up being a few of my favorites of the session!
Katie and Scott, I wish you the best with the next few weeks and your delivery:) I am looking forward to meeting the new little one:)!
