At the end of August, I had the pleasure of heading down the Cape, on a gorgeous day, to photograph Holly and Jeff’s wedding. When I arrived, I headed up to Holly’s suite to check in and get some detail shots…Holly’s mother MADE her this rosary. The beads are a composite of hydrangeas and sea shells, if I remember correctly, and they were beautiful! If you are interested in having a set made for you, you can contact her directly at BAL517@yahoo.com!!When Jeff arrived, I jumped over to the guys and got them working on their pocket square (honestly don’t even know the right name for them:)! They had some difficulty, so I finished them up for them after grabbing a couple shots! We grabbed a few pictures of the guys outside before they headed off to the church! When they left, I headed back up to Holly’s suite for the final touches! Getting the dress on and all of those accessories!Holly’s bracelet and earrings were also custom made by her cousin! She designs for a high-end store and made these herself, specifically for Holly! The necklaces and earrings for the girls were also a custom design:)! Love the matching champagne glasses too!I just love the next picture because of Holly’s nephew reeeeaching for Holly…so cute!Awww….such a cutie….
Checking out the new ring….Holly & Jeff jumped out of their limo bus quickly for a couple of pictures at the mill before heading to the beach! When we arrived at the beach, this cool truck was parked there…how could we resist a quick couple of pictures?! We had limited angles due to the other cars and people, but it worked:)This little giggle is thanks to the adorable ring bearer….He is quite a ham:)!My classic, “stike a pose” picture, lead to…..a jumping picture!! I never ask people to jump, but love when I have an energized party that asks to do it:)!
This beach is THEIR beach, which makes all of these pictures that much more special:)!
After the beach we headed to the reception venue for our family pictures, some more couple pictures and the remainder of the evening:)!While we were waiting for everyone to arrive, I had a few minutes to grab a few detail pictures! The reception began with the announcement of the family, bridal party and of course the little ones!Holly’s father sang and performed their first dance song…He was fantastic! When everyone began their meal, I borrowed the rings for a few pictures….I just realized that these two are also such hams!! They jumped in the picture of the programs earlier and they were outside, when I was doing the rings, and just had to get a picture together:)!
When I returned their rings, I could see the sun setting out back! We ran outside with literally 3 minutes to spare before it was gone…SO worth it:)!Back inside, the speeches began…and into the parent dances….Then the party began!Holly and Jeff – congratulations!! I had a blast at both our engagement session and the wedding:) You have a great group of family and friends….best wishes to you both!
PS…Holly – I still love those little hints of your Boston accent:)!

Bride/Groom Questions

For Groom it was watching the Bride walk down the aisle. For Bride it was dancing their first dance as husband and wife while her Father performed the song.
What was your favorite detail?
The rosary beads my Mother made me which wrapped around my bouquet as my ‘something blue’.
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Just got with it! Things may not go exactly as planned but it’ll all work out.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Our nephew and ring bearer Britt, making funny faces at Heather while she snapped pictures of the bridal party. She told him he could make funny faces out of the photo and so he did, about 2 feet from her. Everyone in the bridal party couldn’t stop laughing, it was priceless.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
No
