Lauren and Frank were married on New Years Eve at the Seaport Hotel in Boston. Their weather was fantastic! It was in the 50’s which worked wonderfully for our outdoor plans for a first look and some pictures! undefinedundefinedLauren’s maid-of-honor, and best-friend, was formerly a coordinator at the Seaport Hotel! undefinedundefinedundefinedThere are quite a few pictures of Lauren in this post and this is actually the narrowed down version! She is truly stunning!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedLauren and Frank live in NYC, so a majority of our contact was through phone conversations and emails! When I met Lauren and her mom for the final meeting, Frank hadn’t made the trip up yet so these pictures were actually taken within minutes of me introducing myself! I have to say that within that short time, I could already tell that he was a great guy!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedAfter the family formals, we quickly grabbed a few more pictures before heading over to the reception! We were a bit chilly at that point, but it was beginning to get dark and I knew that the look of the city lights at dusk would be fantastic!!undefinedundefinedOne request that Lauren had was a shot of her and her father entering the church!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedThe kiss!! I added this picture into the preview once I read Lauren’s response below! I didn’t want her to have to wait any longer to see the kiss!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedLauren and Frank chose New Year’s Eve for a fun party atmosphere…They wanted their wedding to be more of a party than the typical “formalities” of a wedding reception. With that in mind, they entered with the help of Lauren’s brother-in-law doing the announcing, and then went right into their speeches!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedWe quietly did an unannounced cake cutting…undefinedand then the dancing began!undefinedundefinedundefinedundefinedLauren and Frank were both dancing machines! I absolutely LOVE when a couple likes to dance…and with each other too:)!undefinedundefinedThis year, I wasn’t with them for the ball dropping, but I did leave on a high-note! SHOUT is always a fun song!undefined

Lauren and Frank, congratulations to you both! You are both fantastic people and your families are fantastic too! Hopefully our paths will cross again soon! You never know…I may even run into your family when I am in Naples :)!!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?

We were seriously on the fence about doing a first dance—neither of us really wanted to be the center of attention even more than we had to be, and we didn’t take any lessons ahead of time. We always said that if we were to do a first dance it would be to Thunder Road by Bruce Springsteen, and when the DJ played that song during dinner, our closest family and friends all got up to dance without being prompted. In the end, we got to have our first dance to our favorite song and share it with everyone we love—it was such a natural and perfect moment for us… and really our favorite part!

Funniest moment?

The kiss came a lot sooner in the ceremony than we thought it would—and when our priest told us to do it, we not only were caught off guard, but we both realized that we hadn’t really talked through the logistics of it. We think it went OK, but we are still waiting for photographic evidence!

Any advice for future brides/grooms?

Create a realistic schedule!
I was so happy that Heather made helpful suggestions to my original schedule and built in time for travel, bathroom breaks, photo set ups, etc. In the end, we were ahead of schedule for the entire day which allowed us to relax, take more pictures, and enjoy the quieter moments.

Where did you go on your honeymoon?

Tahiti, Moorea, and Bora Bora. Ammmazing!
