Jess and Jack did not let COVID-19 get in the way of their plans to marry on August 22nd…they tackled the obstacle head on and came up with a perfect alternative to their original plan! Their day moved from a traditional wedding venue to a private residence in Dennis, MA and with a lot of planning and help from their friends and family – they executed a perfect backyard intimate affair! It couldn’t have worked out more perfectly!
Their day ran the full gamut of weather – started sunny and HOT, became overcast, became foggy and started to rain (and give them a “good luck” blessing:) and then ended with an amazing sunset! Take a peek…
I learned that Jack designed all of the cups and accessories himself!
Jack’s fabulous sister officiated!
This view was straight out of The Bachelor/Bachelorette franchise!! It was amazing to see the view, but when I backed up to the deck and saw them standing on that isolated deck, I felt like I was in the finale of that TV show!
Jess and Jack’s best man and matron-of-honor presented them with their rings…
Just after the ceremony, it started to give them a “good luck” shower:)! We squeezed in a few pictures of them and their families just in case the rain didn’t stop, but that didn’t end up being the case!
A little signing of the marriage license…
This guitar was a surprise gift to Jack from Jess, along with the personalized guitar strap…you will see more of the strap with their rings in photos above!
LOVE the joy in these photos:)!
As the sun peeked out, they had their first dance surrounded by their closest friends and family – full of a lot of laughter:)!! They capped it off with they parent dances that kept the love and laughter rolling:)!
Full group photo – missing only one I think;)!
After their dances, we scooted down to the beach for a sunset and boy did we get one!!
Can you say STUNNING?!!! Jack kept joking, that we placed that sailboat there just for photos LOL!
The sun went down and Jack and Jess’s friend added some fireworks to their day!
Back on the deck, dinner was served and toasts were given:)!
A very happy end to my time with them:)! I know that they went on to enjoy the rest of the evening:)!!
Jess and Jack – I wish you the best! It was a pleasure to meet all of your family and friends! Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your day!!

Bride/Groom Questions
What was the most memorable moment of your day? For both of us, it was seeing each other for the first time as I headed down the stairs and walkway to meet him and he stood on the deck looking up at me and our guests!
What was your favorite detail?
The overall setup of the ‘venue’. We, along with friends and family, set it all up that day including the lights and planting the hydrangea trees in front of the deck where we were married. It was a roll up your sleeves type wedding which made it very personal for us.
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Do it your way. This is your day!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Groom party outfit change to Hawaiian shirt ensembles later in the night
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
It was not originally what we had planned but we wouldn’t change a thing!
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We stayed at the house in Dennis, Ma for another week and enjoyed the beach and gorgeous sunsets!
