Michelle and Brett were married on October 7th…an incredibly gorgeous October day! I spent the beginning of the day zooming from one spot to the next, but they were all practically in my backyard! They are only the second couple that I have worked with that actually live in my town! I can pretty much call Brett and Michelle neighbors, seeing I could walk to their house if I really wanted to…it made all of my traveling a piece of cake!
Michelle’s day started at the salon with all of her girls and family joining her! It was an incredibly efficient salon, so we were even ahead of schedule! When we wrapped up at the salon, I scooted over to Brett and Michelle’s house where the guys were going to be getting ready…they even had a few minutes to play a yard game before they got their tuxes on!
Brett’s dad assisted him, and Brett returned the favor!Once everyone was ready, we headed back outside to do some pre-formals of the guys…normally, I am the one making them laugh and smile, but on this day, I had some assistance from the bride’s dad behind me…don’t even ask me what he was doing :)!After working with the guys, I zoomed over to the hotel where Michelle was getting on her dress! We did some quick pictures of the girls, just outside the hotel! Jen, the bridesmaid on the far left, is the reason that Brett and Michelle found me! I went to school with Jen, and Jen’s husband went to school with Brett! Thanks so much Jen for passing along my name!!When we arrived at Lakeview Pavilion, the room was already set up and ready to go!The ceremony took place as the sun was going down…absolutely beautiful!I just LOVE the pure happiness on Michelle’s face in this picture! After dinner the party began fast! Michelle and her girls are DANCERS!!I just had to include the next trio of couples…On the far right is Jen and her husband, the middle photo is of the very important grandparents, and the photo on the far left has a little story behind it!! I ALSO went to school with the gentleman in that picture…he was a year ahead of me and I JUST ran into him at another wedding that I photographed! When I saw him on the list to be standing up on Brett’s side, I couldn’t believe it…two weddings within a month of each other and I probably hadn’t seen him in 15 years! He is dancing with his beautiful fiance!! Congrats to you both!Love the air guitar with the leg!Love this one of Michelle and her brother!Brett and Michelle, congratulations! I hope our paths cross again soon (even if it is just when you are on a walk with your dog!) :)!
