The first weekend of September kicked off with the wedding of Holly and Brett. From our first meeting together, I knew that they were two of the kindest people that I have worked with! After our engagement session, I knew that my first impressions were right on!
The day began at Holly’s childhood home…
When the girls were ready, we headed outside for a few pictures…I had fallen in love with Holly’s street as I pulled up to her house and within a few steps out of her driveway we were there!
Isn’t is fantastic?!
I met up with the guys at The Meeting House, for a few pictures of them before the ceremony also!
I was also able to capture a bunch of the details that were already all set up!
The ceremony began inside the actual meetinghouse, and the tears began for Holly.
Holly’s father helped to walk Holly up the isle and then took his spot as the officiant. He is an amazingly kind and sweet man, just like his daughter, and was perfect for the special job!
At the end of their ceremony, Holly’s father performed a song that he had written just for them…they danced their first dance, as he played and sang, and it became part of their actual ceremony!
As Brett and Holly entered the tent, Holly’s father’s face was filled with pure joy…he gave Brett a big hug as he passed.
At the beginning of the reception, Brett, Holly’s father and another gentleman, played and sang a few songs…this would be Brett playing with his new wedding band on his finger!
The dance music began next and the rest of the night was a big party!

At the end of the night, we snuck outside for a few final pictures…I put a few of these up on Facebook in black and white, so I thought that I would share them here in color!

What was the most memorable moment of your day?
The ceremony was the most memorable especially having Holly’s Dad officiate and perform the song he wrote for us, it really made the day special
What was your favorite detail?
The little white bird house table numbers we made!
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
What everyone says is true the day is over before you can blink your eyes! As hard as it is try to be in the moment the entire time!
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Probably either having everyone at the wedding dance to Whip It or having the top of the cake pretty much explode once we tried to cut it since it was so warm that day!
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
No! It was perfect!
