If you have seen my social media posts about this wedding, you already know how much I love Katelyn and her family, but let me just say it again:)! I have been with them since 2010 when I first met them for Kristen and Scott’s wedding, then in 2012 for Kim and Dave’s wedding and now 2016 for Katelyn and Max’s wedding (and I had the pleasure of meeting Max along the way too:)! Katelyn has a big and close knit family and it is something that I always wished that I had…I just love watching them be them:)! Even their Nana reminds me of my own – and I just love getting to see her:)
Now enough about their fabulous family so that we can dive into Katelyn and Max’s fabulous day! I arrived a bit early because it was my first time at this fabulous venue and I wanted to take a peek around:)! It was a perfect mix of beautifully landscaped, awesome ocean view, wild flowers, woodsy and beachy! Amazingness!
Katelyn and her sisters were in full swing getting ready and they were rocking their shirts that Katelyn had made them…they were replicas of childhood shirts that they used to wear – totally awesome!
While Katelyn was underway, I worked on some of her details…
Inn by the Sea says it all – look at their view from their room!
Max sent over a card and gift for Katelyn, and the gorgeous robe that she is wearing was a gift from her sister Kerin. It was so gorgeous and looked so gorgeous on her that it could have been her dress!
Kristen Face-timing her sons from their room:)
When the guys arrived, Max had to put on some finishing touches before the ceremony…
Inn by the Sea had the ceremony spot all set up and waiting for the guests…
These cuties, also Katelyn’s nephews, served as the ring bearers:)!
After the ceremony the bridal party headed down towards the Inn by the Sea beach…and it is beautifully picturesque along the way!
Katelyn had her sisters and Max had his two friends and Katelyn’s brother in the party:)
The reception kicked off with high energy intros and dancing!
Katelyn surprised Max with a song and her sisters were her back up singers. Katelyn has a beautiful voice!
We snuck out of the tent for just a few minutes of sunset photos..
Katelyn and Max – Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your day and for all of your kind words and notes – You are the best and I wish you the best:)!! Congrats!

Bride/Groom Questions
What was the most memorable moment of your day?
We were blessed by EVERY moment!
What was your favorite detail?
Being outdoors by the ocean, in the beautiful crisp air and sunlight, and surrounded by so much Love!
Any advice for future brides/grooms?
Do Not..I repeat Do Not waste you time and energy on favors..unless it’s a take home food treat of course. I loved what we did but it was very time consuming.
Funniest memory from your wedding day?
Oh my goodness there are so many. If I had to choose one thing that comes to mind first it would have to be when the last dance of the evening was over..I curtseyed to the crowd and then Max also curtseyed instead of bowing. Which I still proceed to joke with him about.
If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
Absolutely nothing period.
Where did you go on your honeymoon?
We went up north to Bar Harbor, Maine for a couple nights!
