If you could pick your weather, you would pick Jill and Dustin’s day – warm, but not too warm, very little wind and sunny – a perfect June day!
Jill and Dustin chose the Danversport Yacht Club for their ceremony and reception and we headed to a lighthouse for their photos before the ceremony began. Our day started in a hotel while everyone got ready for the day!
Although Dustin had already been successful with his bowtie, his best man stepped in with a little guidance when it didn’t seem to be coming out just right:) Their wedding took place on a Friday…I just loved the tank tops:)
Jill had a moment with her dad and a first look, just before we headed outside for the official first look with Dustin!
Fantastic first look – I couldn’t pick just one:)! When we arrived at the sea side location for photos, we did it all! The guys, the girls, everyone together, the families and of course, Jill and Dustin! A little champagne toast as we wrapped up and headed to the Yacht Club! When we arrived to the Danversport Yacht Club, guests were beginning to arrive and were enjoying the view! Just a couple of family photos after the ceremony to include the grandparents… and a generational photo with two awesome grandmothers – both so happy and full of spunk! Then just a few photos on the grounds of the Yacht Club…before enjoying cocktail hour!
The reception began with some fun intros and went right into their first dance and speeches by Jill’s sister and Dustin’s good friend!
I love this girl!! Jill’s sister is just as fabulous as her (and their brother is great too – can’t leave him out:)!! She did a great job on her speech too – which elicited this reaction from Jill:)Talk about a killer sunset! I was one of many photographers trying to get a picture of these two with that lighting – how could you not?!
Back inside, it was time to dance with mom and dad… Then some dancing began!
Outdoors, it actually began to rain out of the blue! Jill’s dad, and many others, moved under the tent to smoke their cigars:)! The night wrapped up for me with a few minutes in the Photo Booth:)!
Jill and Dustin – Congratulations to you both:)! I wish you the best and hope we cross paths again really soon! A big thanks to Casey (Ivatts) Henchman for passing my name along to them – I wish you and Dan could have been there too:!!

bride & groom questions
Q. What was the most memorable moment of your day?
A. Being with all of the people who we love the most- especially the time before the wedding taking pictures and on the bus with our families and wedding party.
Q. Funniest memory from your wedding day?
A. Both of the speeches had us laughing so hard- Rachel and Rick know us too well.
Q. What was your favorite detail?
A. We are so happy that we went with a band over a DJ. The dance floor was packed all night.
Q. Any advice for future brides/grooms?
A. The planning process will bring out the best and worst in you. Make sure to keep in mind that this is your day and the real reason for the celebration- Your love for each other!
Q. If you could do it all over, would you change anything?
A. Everything was absolutely amazing- We couldn’t have asked for a more fun, relaxing, and perfect day. If it were at all possible, we would have lightened up the Boston area traffic- but I don’t think there is anything we could do about that!
Q. Where did you go on your honeymoon?
A. We took a road trip (in an orange Mustang) up on the Pacific Coast Highway in California- from San Diego to Napa. It was so much fun!
