These two adorable people are getting married in Texas next year and I had the pleasure of working with them for their engagement photos (Thanks to my clients Jenny and Pat:) While we spent some time walking around Boston we had some time to chat! I learned that Jenny and Pat AND Sarah and Ethan all met on the same foreign exchange trip! That blew me away:)! An incredible experience made even more incredible for all four of them!
Take a peek below at our time spent in Boston last week…With Ethan being from MA and Sarah being from TX, they will now have the best of both worlds…an engagement session (and INCREDIBLE engagement story that you need to read below) taking place in MA and a beautiful wedding taking place in TX…what more could you ask for?!
Sarah and Ethan – Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your engagement story! It was a pleasure to work with you and I wish you the best on your day in Texas:)

How did he propose | It was a rainy Boston afternoon and we had just come back from running errands. As I walked into our apartment I noticed our living room was different. He had set up pictures of us in a large heart on the ground with a book in the center. The book was filled with pictures and memories of our 2 1/2 years together. As I turned to the last page in the book there were no pictures, just a message, “Will you marry me?” I then turned around and he was on one knee behind me. My best friend from college then ran out of the entry way where she had been hiding and taking pictures. I thought this was where the surprise ended, but Ethan had set up dinner for both of our entire families at our favorite restaurant in Boston, where we had our first date. After dinner, I asked if the surprises were over and he confidently said yes. As we were walking home that night, he suggested getting a celebratory drink. He led me into a bar and into yet another surprise. I instantly heard screams coming from the balcony, which he had reserved for our closest friends to celebrate with us. It is by far the best day of my life!
