Last week I had the pleasure of spending some time with Jamie and Brian for their engagement session! Due to the fact that they had traveled up here from their new home in NY, we were going to be doing the session “rain or shine” – luckily we had “shine”:)! Although it was a bit chilly and windy, it worked out beautifully! I do think that we will be even more appreciative of spring weather when their wedding day arrives in May:)
Going into to our session, I was excited that I already knew Jamie and Brian! Jamie is the sister of Craig and Craig and Alex were one of my fabulous 2015 couples! Jamie AND Brian were in the bridal party (click here to view their gorgeous wedding at Ocean Cliff and play a little I spy Jamie and Brian)!
Take a peek below to view some of my favorites from our wintery session – there are so many more to come in their gallery too:)! Be sure to also read the proposal story – absolutely adorable and perfectly fitting for these two:)!

Proposal Story: Jamie is an avid runner…and Brian just tries to keep up. Brian decided he wanted to propose at a race and the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler was the perfect one. Jamie tends to be a bit competitive when it comes to running, however, this race just so happened to be the weekend before the Boston Marathon. This meant that Jamie would be willing to take it easy. Brian hadn’t been running much that spring. His plan was to propose at Mile 3, hoping that after the proposal Jamie would be so excited she would want to stop running and start celebrating. However, after a last minute course change, the proposal spot was moved to Mile 9. When they finally got there, friends of both Jamie and Brian were holding signs that read: “Will you marry me Jamie Lewin?” Jamie, of course, said yes, and after taking a few pictures, insisted that the two of them finish the race.
