Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Mary and Ryan, for their engagement session, in the area where they grew up! We chose this spot so that were able to incorporate the store where they met (and where Ryan helps run:)
From the meeting where we first met, I knew that we were going to be a great match:) Not only did I love their out-going personalities, but I shared a connection with each of them! Mary and I are both Sacred Heart University grads! She is my first wedding client that went to the same college as me:)! So cool! My connection with Ryan ended up slipping out as we were about to leave our meeting…Ryan told me that we kind of share a name – his nickname is “Chick” because of the way his last name is pronounced (and obviously my last name is legitly Chick:)! He is the first “Chick” that I have met besides my husband (and his family:)!
My “great-match” instincts were right and these two were fabulous to hang out with and to work with! I can’t wait for June – they are going to be an awesome start to a busy wedding month:)!
I absolutely love that we were able to include Tilly & Salvy’s in our session – it is fantastic when a session is able to be personalized to something special in a couple’s lives! These photos are great now, but will be something they can show their grandchildren one day too:) I can just hear them saying, “Look at those prices” when they are old and grey and a cucumber is is now $10.29:)
Ryan and Mary – Congratulations to you both (and your families:)! I can’t wait to meet both of your families next June:)!

How did you meet…as told by Mary | Back in High School, Ryan and I both worked at Tilly and Salvy’s. We were scheduled to work the same Sunday shift and soon after we started working closely together. Ryan asked me out on our first date to a Red Sox game where we instantly found a connection. Eight years later we are happy homeowners and the rest is history.
